More Quonzi Financial "Bazookas"
Now I know what the
"Bazooka" thing was/is supposed to do and mean: www.ft.com/content/be0892cc-6583-11ea-b3f3-fe4680ea68b5
Imagine doing the same thing over and
over again, with little progress and no relief. Sounds like most people’s
vision of hell — or Central Bank current predicament.
Most people are clueless as to what all this is about and how large the
numbers have become, probably because no-one tells them, they have other things
on their minds and the subject, although numerically not that complicated in
reality, has been kept close and deliberately obfuscated by silly language like
"Quantitative Easing".
Someone I know asked on Twitter the
other day why this was being done all over again when it did not really work
well previously. There Is No Alternative [TINA] -
to keep it all going.
I thought I would "upgrade"
my longer Quonzi note and nail it together with something scribbled over two
years ago sometime after November 2017. That included a plot showing the
obvious link between S&P 500 and Central Bank Balance.
"Ponzi
Quantitative Easing [QE] Scheme - Quonzi", 9th October 2019
The latest plots from Yardeni Research
were published yesterday, which is what spurred me to upgrade. An upgrade of
the attached is Figure 4, which is worth a look (if nothing else). All
the Central Bank plots are there, Fed, BoJ, ECB, PBOC: www.yardeni.com/pub/peacockfedecbassets.pdf
It's like they are all trapped.
Figure 2 is also worth considering, the
4 majors total assets is about ~ USD 20 Trillion, which has just leaped by 2.3
T with the latest ""creation". This may be compared with that
huge volume of money sitting in the Tax Havens estimated by Tax Justice Network,
whose landmark report in July 2012 estimated that
there is approximately USD 32 trillion of wealth sitting offshore, largely
untaxed and in conditions of substantial secrecy. It shows how tax havens are
now mainstream: www.taxjustice.net/price-offshore-revisited/
There is this at least one and a half
times the cash sitting beyond government control than in all four main central
banks combined. The controllers of that therefore have the same
"purchasing power" as the world's 4 main Central Banks combined.
Think of who they may be. It's electronically transferred numbers. The vast
majority of what we used to think money was is now simply "credit".
That's quite something. Forty years ago those numbers were different. Now global
organised crime and their naughty little "financier" facilitators
have quite a lot more clout.
